ALMA/ALTI Gold Award
ALMA International Symposium & Expo (AISE) 2018 was the last edition of the most important loudspeaker industry event to take place in Las Vegas, just prior to CES. Promoted by the Audio & Loudspeaker Technologies International (ALTI - former ALMA), these are always two days filled with great networking and education opportunities. Included every year is the ALMA/ALTI International Banquet and the Driver Award attributions, the association's annual tribute to people who have impacted the industry. In 2018, ALMA International presented the Gold Driver Award for Continued Service to Mike Klasco, president of Menlo Scientific.
Mike Klasco has been providing consulting services to the audio industry for nearly 40 years, and has been an outspoken advocate to the industry for ALMA/ALTI, encouraging manufacturers and professionals to engage with the association.
